Job summary

Wesleyan in Birmingham is seeking a GI Consultant to deliver tailored Home, Motor and Travel Insurance advice. You’ll manage renewals, policy changes and new business, with a focus on strong customer relationships.

Working in a supportive General Insurance team, you’ll operate within FCA standards, aiming to hit service and retention targets while providing clear, compliant guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• Understanding of delivering an advice-led customer service experience.
• Knowledge of financial services and regulated environments.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored advice to customers on Home, Motor and Travel Insurance.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding renewals, policy changes and new business.
• Help meet individual and team income, retention and service targets.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell related products and referrals.
• Assist with policy amendments, premium recalculations and payments.
• Ensure customer documentation is accurate and compliant.
