Job summary

Carwow is seeking a People Operations Executive for Germany to own the monthly payroll and employee lifecycle for Germany. You will handle payroll accuracy, respond to queries in German and English, and collaborate with the team to optimise processes using AI-powered tools.

You will ensure compliance with German regulations, administer employee benefits, and maintain our Hibob HRIS while growing into a more autonomous, senior role within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in People Operations or HR administration/payroll.
• Fluent in German and English (written & spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in admin work.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly German payroll processing accurately and on time.
• Respond to German employee payroll and lifecycle questions in German and English.
• Administer benefits for German employees and manage enrolments and changes.
• Process joiners, leavers, and changes; maintain HRIS (Hibob).
• Produce reliable payroll reports and support audits/year-end processes.
• Identify improvements to workflows and documentation with AI-assisted tooling.
