Carwow Group is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own UK payroll, benefits and lifecycle support. You’ll drive accurate monthly payroll and serve as the go‑to for employee pay queries, benefits questions, and documentation across the lifecycle.

You’ll work in a fast‑moving, scale‑up environment, improving processes with AI tooling while maintaining exceptional data integrity and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a People Operations/HR admin/payroll role, preferably in scale‑ups.
• Hands‑on UK payroll processing experience and knowledge of payroll fundamentals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in admin tasks.
• Ability to manage high‑volume tasks with strong organisation.
• Proactive problem solving and effective communication, including policy guidance.
• Comfort with using AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end monthly UK payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Be the first point of contact for payroll, benefits, and lifecycle queries.
• Administer benefits programmes and renewals; support documentation and changes.
• Ensure HRIS data is accurate, up‑to‑date and audit‑ready (Hibob).
• Prepare documentation and ensure smooth onboarding, changes and offboarding.
• Develop self‑serve resources and FAQs to reduce repetitive queries.
