About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated German Teacher to join a thriving Modern Foreign Languages department at a well-respected secondary school in Stourbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and promote a love for languages. The ability to teach a second language would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality German lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular language activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards in MFL teaching and learning.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in German or a related subject.
- Experience teaching German in a UK secondary school (NQTs/ECTs encouraged to apply).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for languages and a commitment to student success.
