Job summary

Nomad Foods seeks an experienced fixed asset accountant to support the German finance team. You will manage SFC fixed asset activities, month-end and quarter-end close, processing additions, disposals, depreciation, and related postings in SAP.

The role requires collaboration across teams, attention to audit requirements, and a proactive approach to improving fixed asset processes, with German language skills preferred and SAP FA experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Part/fully qualified accountant status.
• German language skills would be an advantage.
• SAP and Fixed Asset SAP experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the SFC Fixed Asset related activities for Germany, including month-end, quarter-end close process for SFC Fixed Asset activities, processing additions, disposals, depreciation etc.
• Co-ordinating and completing the associated processes for fixed assets across teams, commentary, depreciation bookings, managing overall Iglo Germany fixed asset related issues.
• Contributing as required to the wider team objectives of the German FRC team; these could be ad-hoc and will be additional to the fixed asset activities.
• Contributing to improvements in processes especially in the fixed assets area; standardising fixed asset approach with other clusters and changing processes for the VIM environment.
• Managing external audit requirements for fixed assets.
