Job summary

Nomad Foods Inc. is seeking an experienced fixed asset accountant to manage SFC Fixed Asset activities for Germany, including month-end and quarter-end closes, additions, disposals and depreciation. You will coordinate processes across teams and support the German FRC team in meeting objectives.

SAP Fixed Asset skills are highly valued. German language skills are advantageous, and part/full qualification as an accountant is required to perform audits and ensure compliance with accounting

Qualifications

• Part/fully qualified accountant.
• German language skills would be an advantage.
• SAP and especially Fixed Asset SAP skills would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out SFC Fixed Asset related activities for Germany (month-end, quarter-end close, additions, disposals, depreciation).
• Co-ordinating and completing fixed asset processes across teams (commentaries, depreciation bookings, asset issues).
• Contributing to wider German FRC team objectives; ad-hoc tasks beyond fixed asset activities.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the SFC Fixed Asset related activities for Germany g. month-end, quarter-end close process for SFC Fixed Asset activities, processing additions, disposals, depreciation etc
• Co-ordinating and completing the associated processes for fixed assets across teamsg. commentaries, depreciation bookings, managing overall IgloGermany fixed asset related issues
• Contributing as required to the wider team objectives of the German FRC team. These could be ad-hoc, could change over time and will be additional to the fixed asset activities
• Contributing to improvements in processes especially in the fixed assets areag. standardising fixed asset approach with other clusters, changing processes for VIM environment, resolving P&L GLs 42503010 and 42603010 account imbalance, etc.
• Managing external audit requirements for fixed assets

Qualifications

• Part/fully qualified accountant
