Job summary

The Cooneen Group is seeking a Gerber Training Officer to join our Technical and Design team on a fixed-term basis. You will deliver training on Gerber pattern software, develop resources, and coach staff across pattern development processes.

The role involves coordinating with design, technical and production teams, assessing learning needs, and maintaining training records. A strong background in Gerber and pattern cutting is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using Gerber pattern software.
• Pattern cutting experience within textiles or garment manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on Gerber pattern software to staff.
• Create and maintain training materials and user guides.
• Provide coaching and technical support on pattern development.
• Assess training needs and monitor learner progress.
• Maintain training records and competency matrices.
• Support software implementation and process improvement.
• Coordinate with design, technical and production teams for knowledge transfer.
• Promote best practices in pattern creation and garment manufacturing.
