Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking a gerber pattern cutter for a luxury retailer in Greater London. The role is temporary and part-time, starting ASAP and initially 2 days per week with potential to increase to 3 days.

The candidate will work with designers and the technical studio manager on pattern development, tech packs and quality checks through to production, with a feminine RTW aesthetic emphasis.

• Experienced gerber pattern cutter with women's RTW experience.
• Experience working with designers and technical studio teams.
• Ability to develop patterns, amendments, tech packs and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and technical studio manager on pattern development and amendments.
• Prepare tech packs and conduct quality checks through to production.
• Ensure patterns meet production timelines for a luxury RTW brand.

A new opportunity has arisen for a gerber pattern cutter to join this luxury retailer on a temporary and part-time basis. This role will be starting ASAP on an ongoing basis and initially working 2 days per week, potentially increasing to 3 days per week later in the year.

The main focus of the role is working closely with the designers and technical studio manager on pattern development and amendments, tech packs and quality checks through to production.

The successful candidate will be an experienced gerber pattern cutter with women's RTW experience. The aesthetic is feminine with a softer, drapey handwriting.
