Job summary
Integrate Engineering Resources is seeking an Assistant Driller / Second Man to join a geothermal drilling operation in Aylesbury, supporting an experienced Lead Driller on site.
This role is suitable for candidates with drilling, groundworks or outdoor site experience who want to develop a career in the renewable energy sector. CSCS card and full UK driving licence are preferred, with training provided.
We offer a competitive PAYE rate and an immediate start for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Experience in drilling or outdoor site work preferred.
- CSCS card or ability to obtain one.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Lead Driller with geothermal borehole drilling
- Supporting the operation of drilling rigs and ancillary equipment
- Operating and maintaining mud cleaning/recycling equipment
- Assisting with installation of ground-source heat pump borehole loops
- Supporting grouting and borehole completion
- Keeping the rig, equipment and work area clean, safe and prepared
- Assisting with routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Maintaining high health & safety and environmental standards
- Supporting site records and QA/QC requirements
