Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. in Manchester seeks a Site Engineer (Geologist / Ground Investigations) to supervise and manage on-site teams on small to medium geotechnical ground investigation projects.

You will log rock and soil samples from boreholes and trial pits and carry out field testing and surveying, ensuring technical, commercial and HSEQ compliance. The role requires a Geology or Earth Sciences degree and 12-18 months site investigation contracting experience, plus strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences with relevant field experience.
• 12-18 months site investigation contracting experience and contractor background.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; full UK driving licence; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site teams on geotechnical projects.
• Log rock and soil samples from boreholes and trial pits and perform field testing.
• Ensure compliance across technical, commercial, and HSEQ areas; travel as required.
