Job summary

Fusion People Ltd in Oldham is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer for a permanent role in the ground investigation sector. You will design, coordinate and oversee projects, manage delivery and budgets, and provide technical input during planning and tenders.

You will mentor junior engineers, support business growth, and contribute to HSE and quality systems while developing relationships with clients and pursuing chartered status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in ground investigation or geo-environmental engineering.
• Degree in Geology, Geotechnical, or Environmental discipline.
• MSc and working towards chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and oversee ground investigation projects.
• Manage project delivery, budgets and programme performance.
• Prepare technical reports, desk studies and interpretative assessments.
• Provide technical input during project planning and tender stages.
• Monitor project costs and commercial performance.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Support tender submissions, quotations and pre-qualification documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to business growth and development initiatives.
• Support quality, environmental, health and safety management systems.
