Job summary

Morson Edge in Grimsby is seeking 2–4 Geotechnical Engineers with 3–5 years' site experience to act as Investigation Supervisors for a new power line corridor project. You will oversee ground investigations on site, manage operations and ensure safety and compliance.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, interpret geotechnical data, and contribute to high-quality reporting across multiple sites. Driving licence preferred; CSCS/SMSTS advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' site experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ground investigation techniques and site supervision.
• Ability to interpret geotechnical data and reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage ground investigation works on site, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to deliver investigation objectives
• Monitor and report on site progress, risks, and issues
• Interpret geotechnical data and support preparation of technical reports
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and project specifications
• Support logistical planning and resource management across multiple sites
