Morson Edge in Grimsby is seeking 2–4 Geotechnical Engineers with 3–5 years' site experience to act as Investigation Supervisors for a new power line corridor project. You will oversee ground investigations on site, manage operations and ensure safety and compliance.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, interpret geotechnical data, and contribute to high-quality reporting across multiple sites. Driving licence preferred; CSCS/SMSTS advantageous.

Qualifications

Geotechnical Engineer - Investigation Supervisor

Location: Grimsby to Walpole (and possibly other GGP schemes)

Contract Type: Approximately 12 months, starting beginning of September

Summary

We are seeking 2-4 experienced Geotechnical Engineers with a minimum of 3-5 years' site experience to take on the role of Investigation Supervisor. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing ground investigation activities for a new power line corridor project. This role involves managing site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to accurately assess ground conditions. The position requires hands-on site leadership and technical expertise to support the delivery of high-quality geotechnical data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage ground investigation works on site, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
