Geotechnical Engineer / Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Sheffield

We have an opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Sheffield to support our geotechnical projects in the UK and internationally.

We are looking for someone with the drive to lead in ground engineering, with experience in infrastructure and energy sectors, including renewable energy, offshore, and nuclear power.

Requirements:

• Proven technical and project management experience in geotechnical engineering, with mentoring skills.
• Degree in civil engineering or geology, postgraduate qualification in geotechnics, and chartered status.
• Experience in Design and Build environments is preferred.

Candidate Profile:

• Strong academic background (MSc or equivalent).
• Chartered status.
• Experience in a fast-paced engineering consultancy.
• Project management skills and client relationship experience.
• Proven geotechnical design and analytical skills, familiar with software like GeoStudio, Repute, Wallap.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas, holding a valid UK driving license.
