Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in South Manchester (hybrid) invites an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing Geo team. You will work on a variety of projects across commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare and infrastructure, with a balance of office work and UK-wide site visits, plus some home-based flexibility.

The role focuses on geotechnical design, reporting and supervision, offering development opportunities and progression as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Geotechnical consultancy experience essential.
• Strong design and reporting skills required.
• Experience with site investigations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing existing ground investigation and geotechnical information
• Designing and specifying site investigations
• Producing geotechnical interpretative reports and specifications
• Providing technical advice to project teams
• Supervising large-scale earthworks projects
• Carrying out assessments relating to foundations, earthworks, slope stability and settlement
• Working on ground improvement, mineral workings and natural cavity-related projects
