Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer in London to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering innovative solutions across built environment and infrastructure sectors.

You will undertake geotechnical design calculations for foundations, retainers and earthworks, interpret ground investigation data, and prepare reports and specifications. The role offers hybrid working, strong professional development and support towards chartership.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in geotechnical design, including calculations and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of ground investigation data interpretation and relevant design standards.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A full UK driving licence and full right to work in the UK.
• Be living in or near London, with the ability to commute to the office.

Responsabilités

• Undertake geotechnical design calculations for foundations, retaining structures, slopes and earthworks.
• Interpret ground investigation data to develop safe, efficient and cost-effective design solutions.
• Prepare geotechnical design reports, calculations and technical specifications.
• Assess ground conditions and provide engineering recommendations to support project delivery.
• Work closely with structural, civil and environmental engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Liaise with clients and contractors, providing technical support throughout the design process.
