Job summary

Lucion Group in Bristol is seeking a proactive Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll conduct Phase I and Phase II site assessments, review soil and groundwater data, and help deliver practical, sustainable solutions for development and regeneration projects.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Science or Geology and 3+ years’ geo-environmental consultancy experience, good knowledge of UK regulations, strong report-writing and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or Geology or a related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment.
• Good knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance.
• Experience with site investigation techniques, environmental sampling and data interpretation.
• Strong technical report writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Site Assessments – Phase I and Phase II assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations.
• Contamination Assessment – Assess soil and groundwater contamination and undertake environmental risk assessments.
• Technical Reporting – Prepare high-quality technical reports, including contamination assessments and remediation strategies.
• Project Delivery – Work alongside senior consultants and project managers to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to meet regulations and best practice.
• Innovative Thinking – Develop practical and innovative solutions to land contamination and environmental challenges.
