Job summary

Lucion is seeking a proactive Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our London team. You will work on development and regeneration projects, identifying environmental risks and delivering practical, sustainable solutions with a focus on soil and groundwater contamination.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Science or Geology and at least 3 years of geo-environmental consultancy experience, with strong report writing and communication skills. Driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment.
• Good knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Site Assessments – conduct Phase I/II assessments and desk studies.
• Contamination assessment – soil and groundwater, risk assessments.
• Technical reporting – prepare high-quality reports and remediation strategies.
• Project delivery – work with senior consultants to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Client and stakeholder engagement – liaise with clients, contractors, regulators.
• Innovative thinking – develop practical solutions to land contamination challenges.
