Job summary

Lucion in Bristol is seeking a proactive Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our growing team. You will assess land contamination and environmental risks, delivering practical, sustainable solutions for development and regeneration projects.

You will conduct Phase I/II site investigations, prepare technical reports, and engage with clients and regulators to ensure compliance. A degree in Environmental Science or Geology and 3+ years of relevant experience are required, along with a full UK

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment.
• Good knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance.
• Experience with site investigation techniques, environmental sampling and data interpretation.
• Strong technical report writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Site Assessments - Conduct Phase I and Phase II assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations.
• Contamination Assessment - Assess soil and groundwater contamination, identify pollutant linkages and undertake environmental risk assessments.
• Technical Reporting - Prepare high-quality technical reports, including contamination assessments, remediation strategies and supporting documentation.
• Project Delivery - Work alongside senior consultants and project managers to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet environmental regulations and industry best practice.
• Innovative Thinking - Help develop practical and innovative solutions to land contamination and wider environmental challenges.
