Due to recent successes in offshore wind projects, my client is looking to expand their geotechnical engineering team. Our current portfolio includes several offshore wind farms with the potential to power a third of the UK's households.

Position Overview

We are seeking early-career geotechnical engineers to join our talented team, led by a technical authority with over 20 years of experience. We prioritize staff development, allocating time for learning and training, and assigning mentors to new joiners. Regular technical discussions and workshops are held, encouraging team participation.

Your Responsibilities

1. Join an exciting team working on some of the UK's largest offshore wind projects.
2. Support our Oil & Gas operations to ensure the safety and efficiency of existing assets.
3. Engage actively in learning from experts to develop your career.

Your Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience

1. A degree in civil engineering or geology, with postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical field.
2. Working towards chartered status as a civil engineer or geologist.
3. Experience in offshore geotechnics and geotechnical design, including seismic considerations.
4. Understanding of engineering consultancy and design market needs, client relationships, work planning, and commercial management.
5. Knowledge of CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation contexts.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well within geotechnical teams.
7. Strong report writing skills, with attention to accuracy and self-review.
8. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short assignments.
