Job summary

Surveytech Ltd. in London is seeking a Geospatial Survey Technology Consultant to bridge field experience with commercial delivery. You will run site-based demonstrations, advise on hardware and software packages, and actively develop new business across civil engineering and surveying markets.

In this role you’ll present technical solutions, prepare quotations, and contribute to tender responses, with commission incentives and a company car or allowance bundled into a hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

• Essential background in site setting out, topographic surveys, measured building surveys or site monitoring.
• Desire to expand technical knowledge into related areas.
• Clear, confident presentation and negotiation skills across all levels.
• Full UK driving licence required for client visits and equipment transport.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, site-based demonstrations of total stations, 3D scanners, mobile mapping systems and UAVs.
• Advise contractors and surveying firms on hardware, hire packages and software workflows.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across civil engineering, construction, site monitoring and topographic mapping sectors.
• Prepare detailed technical quotations, hire agreements and tender responses.
• Provide training and onboarding to drive innovation in the industry and share knowledge.
• Site work when needed to support scanning and project delivery.
