Job summary

Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager, Civil Government, to manage and expand relationships with public sector entities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will help customers maximize Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions and integrate data into critical workflows such as environmental monitoring and disaster response.

You will navigate complex government structures, work across cultures, and collaborate with sales to drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Customer Success or account management, preferably with government clients.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of remote sensing, GIS or geospatial imagery.
• Experience with sales teams and commercial models.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Russian.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for gross and net retention metrics across your book of business.
• Partner with Account Executives to build unified strategies with actionable insights.
• Map long-term trajectories to identify risks and expansion opportunities.
• Co-create success plans and QBRs to show ROI of Planet solutions.
• Build relationships across stakeholder networks to empower internal champions.
• Lead cross-functional teams through key account milestones.
• Navigate high-stakes situations with composure and judgment.
