Job summary

University of Bristol is seeking a part-time Data & Geospatial Liaison role to support researchers with linked data assets. You will organise, curate, and facilitate access to place-based data, liaising with data owners and researchers to enable robust analyses.

You will apply statistical methods and coding to develop new data offerings, contribute to documentation, and share insights through working groups and external venues.

Qualifications

• Background or interest in place-based or geospatial data and working with diverse data types.
• Experience with statistical packages and coding approaches to apply methods to new scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Provide researcher support and liaise between data owners' technical teams and researchers.
• Lead organisation, curation and provisioning of new linked data assets.
• Document new linked data to improve researcher interactions with the data.
• Perform data processing/descriptive analyses; publish findings on GitHub or pre-prints.
