Job summary

Zenith is recruiting a Geospatial Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver Level 3 Geospatial Survey Technician apprenticeship training face-to-face and remotely across the UK. You will manage a caseload of learners and employers, ensuring timely achievement and progression while raising standards in line with Zenith's objectives.

You will have a full teaching qualification and be proficient in AutoCAD, GIS software, and surveying equipment such as GNSS, total stations, and laser scanners.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning for the Level 3 Geospatial Survey Technician apprenticeship.
• Experience with GNSS, total stations, laser scanners.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS software and surveying equipment.
• Holds a full teaching qualification (PGCE, PCET, DTLLS) or recognised assessor award.
• Experience of online learning and assessment platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face and remote apprenticeship training.
• Manage a caseload of learners and employers to ensure timely progression.
• Prepare lesson plans and schemes of learning.
• Liaise with employers to reflect real-world surveying tasks.
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback on portfolios and EPA readiness.
• Promote safeguarding and professional values in sessions.
