Job summary

Encompass Geospatial is seeking an Experienced Geospatial Surveyor to join our expanding team. You will capture and deliver precise geospatial data across the UK using total stations, GNSS, 3D laser scanning, and UAVs.

You will work with experienced colleagues in a supportive environment that prioritises professional growth, technical excellence, and proactive problem-solving. The role involves varied environments and some travel across the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of topographical surveying experience.
• Strong understanding of survey principles and data collection methods.
• Proficiency with total stations and GNSS; laser scanning or UAV experience is desirable.
• Competent in data processing and CAD drafting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with commitment to quality and safety.
• Full UK driving licence preferred; CSCS preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographical surveys and deliver accurate 2D & 3D data.
• Operate total stations, GNSS receivers, laser scanners, and UAVs.
• Process data and create CAD drawings and terrain models.
• Collaborate with other survey teams for integrated project solutions.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and safety of outputs.
• Maintain equipment and field documentation.
• Travel to sites across the UK and abroad for short-term fieldwork.
