Job summary

Step Teachers is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a full-time supply role in Diss and surrounding areas. Immediate start with variety across different school settings, delivering KS3/KS4 Geography lessons. QTS required, enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Geography Teacher – Full-time, supply role starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Geography Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. Roles are available in Diss and surrounding areas, with immediate starts.

Duties as Geography Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school policies
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student well-being

Ideal Geography Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
• Flexible, adaptable and confident in new environments
• Committed to fostering a positive learning environment
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
