Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Stafford to appoint a Geography Teacher. The role covers KS3 and KS4 and starts ASAP for the remainder of the Autumn term on a full-time, temporary basis.

The successful candidate will deliver Geography lessons, maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour, and contribute to the wider school environment. QTS with Geography is required, with ECTs welcomed.

Qualifications

• QTS with Geography specialization.
• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Geography curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.

Job Title: Geography Teacher

Salary: £142 - £195 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Stafford who are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher who can engage pupils and contribute positively to the wider school environment.

The school is looking to take on a Geography Teacher from Monday 28th September for the remainder of the Autumn term on a full-time, temporary basis. The successful Geography Teacher will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high expectations for learning, behaviour and progress.

The successful Geography Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Geography specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Geography curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
