Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations where applicable.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global perspectives.
• Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and pastoral teams to support student success.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental initiatives and wider school activities.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant training (e.g. Team Teach, Makaton, ASD awareness) desirable
• Patience, resilience and a calm, nurturing approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
