Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a welcoming Manchester secondary school. You’ll deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5, inspiring students to explore physical and human geography.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND (e.g. autism, SEMH, physical or sensory needs).
• Patience, resilience and a calm, nurturing approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3/KS4 (and potentially KS5).
• Differentiate content to meet learners of varying abilities and monitor progress.
• Assess, provide feedback and implement targeted interventions to raise attainment.
• Contribute to departmental development and participate in enrichment activities and fieldwork.
