Prospero Teaching is recruiting qualified Geography Teachers to support secondary schools across the Midlands. We work with a wide range of mainstream secondary schools and academies looking for enthusiastic teachers to deliver Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Geography within UK secondary schools
• Strong curriculum and classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 opportunities in some schools
• Promote curiosity about the world and help students develop geographical understanding of physical, human and environmental geography
• Maintain positive relationships with local schools and support staff to ensure effective placement and outcomes
• Support flexible arrangements (daily supply, long‑term placements or permanent positions) while meeting safeguarding requirements

You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, promoting curiosity about the world and helping students develop their understanding of physical, human and environmental geography. Opportunities are available in a variety of school settings, allowing you to broaden your experience while building strong relationships with local schools.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers and teachers returning to the profession.
