Job summary

Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Telford. The role involves planning and delivering Geography for KS3 and KS4, with responsibility for GCSE preparation, and is grounded in creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Geography, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students.

Qualifications

• Qualified Geography teacher with UK classroom experience.
• Experience delivering Geography at KS3/KS4; GCSE experience desirable.
• Excellent organizational and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Prepare students for GCSE Geography examinations.
• Differentiate lessons to meet all learners, including SEND.
• Assess work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
• Maintain high expectations and positive classroom behaviour.
• Collaborate with Geography department and wider school team.
