Job summary

Academics are working with a high-performing secondary school in Wokingham to recruit a Geography Teacher who is passionate about the subject and student success.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum, assess progress, manage behaviour, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment. QTS or equivalent is required, with responsibilities starting in September.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Make geographical concepts accessible and engaging for students of different abilities.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to inspire a love of Geography.
• Assess students' understanding through classwork, homework, and formal assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic progress.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
