Are you seeking a rewarding teaching position at a secondary school with a thriving and supportive Humanities department?

Randstad is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a vibrant department from September 2026 at a reputable secondary school in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who loves the challenge of teaching Geography and wants to make a real impact on students.

You will be joining a well-established team of peers who are committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting each other\'s professional growth. You\'ll play an essential part in fostering a love of Geography in students, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative school community.

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver Engaging Geography Lessons: You will provide high-quality teaching for a range of year groups, delivering the UK curriculum across human, physical, and environmental geography, ensuring students are well-prepared for their exams and future studies.

  • Full Teaching Responsibilities: You will take on full teaching responsibilities for your classes. This includes lesson planning, preparation, field trips, and marking for students across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE).

  • Contribute to a Positive Learning Environment: Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve maintaining an inspiring and inclusive classroom, fostering a supportive atmosphere where every student feels confident to analyse spatial data, evaluate global issues, and participate actively.

  • Collaborate with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of Humanities professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the overall success of the department.

  • Uphold School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding, health and safety, and student welfare.

We\'re Looking For:

A passionate and adaptable Geography teacher with the ability to inspire students and manage a classroom effectively.

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with experience teaching the UK curriculum within a secondary school environment.

  • A strong passion for teaching Geography and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • The ability to manage a classroom environment and ensure students are well behaved and engaged.

  • The flexibility and professionalism to step into the role with a positive attitude.

What We Offer:
  • A Rewarding Package: We recognise and value your expertise, offering a competitive salary alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.

  • A Truly Supportive Community: Step into a warm, welcoming, and inclusive school environment where every team member is valued. You\'ll join a department that champions collaboration, mutual respect, and a shared passion for student success. Here, your contributions genuinely make a difference.
