Salary: £185 £265 per day

GSL Education London Branch are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to work at a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Geography Teacher who is keen to inspire students and make a real impact in the classroom.

As a Geography Teacher, you will be joining a supportive school community that values high-quality teaching, professional development, and student achievement. The school is looking for a confident Geography Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and motivate learners across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons as a Geography Teacher
  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress regularly
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and fairly
  • Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school staff
  • Support students with different learning needs to help them achieve their best
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
  • Good classroom management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)
