Job summary

Lincolnshire geography teaching role on daily supply and long-term placements. You will work across a range of secondary schools, planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons aligned to the National Curriculum.

Opportunities to teach KS3/KS4, develop students’ geographical skills, and provide high-quality feedback. DBS checks and UK work rights are required.

Qualifications

• QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure and professional reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons.
• Deliver a range of topics across KS3 and KS4.
• Develop students' understanding of physical and human geography.
• Encourage map reading, data analysis and fieldwork.

• Assess and monitor pupil progress with feedback and support.

Secondary Geography Teacher - Lincoln

We're looking for passionate Geography Teachers to work across a range of Secondary schools in Lincolnshire on a daily supply and long-term basis.

As a Secondary Geography Teacher on supply, you will;

• Be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive Geography lessons
• Have a strong understanding of the Geography National Curriculum
• Deliver a range of geographical topics and concepts across KS3 and KS4
• Develop students' understanding of physical and human geography
• Encourage students to develop their geographical skills, including map reading, data analysis and fieldwork
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities
• Encourage students to understand geographical issues and apply their knowledge to real-world situations
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing appropriate feedback and support
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and school settings
