Salary: £198-£258 per day

Geography Teacher in a Secondary School

We are recruiting a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a school committed to academic excellence and holistic development. By focusing on building strong relationships and fostering a culture of respect and resilience, this school prepares students for success both inside and outside the classroom. You will help students explore their faith, build strong moral foundations, and develop independence in their learning and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• The Geography Teacherappointedto this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviorrequired to create an orderly and productive environment.
• Skills in fostering respect and understanding of diverse beliefs.
• Proficiency in guiding discussions on spirituality and faith.
• There will be an expectation for the successful GeographyTeachertocreate a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.

Qualifications/Experience

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
• Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
