Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd in London is recruiting a Geography Graduate Learning Support Assistant for a supportive secondary school in Stratford, East London. The role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support to help students develop confidence and engagement.

You will work with teachers and the SEN team to support geography and wider subjects, gaining hands-on classroom experience. DBS check required; Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Geography degree required (2:1 or above).
• DBS check required; DBS processing can be supported.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in pursuing teaching or education.
• Experience with children or young people desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students.
• Support students’ academic development across the secondary school.
• Assist students with Geography and wider subject understanding.
• Work alongside teachers and the SEN team.

We are currently recruiting for a Geography Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Stratford, East London.

The role:

Supporting students across the secondary school

Providing 1:1 and small-group support

Supporting students with their academic development

Assisting students with their understanding of Geography and wider subjects

Working alongside teachers and the SEN team

Helping students develop confidence, independence and engagement

Supporting classroom activities and behaviour management

The ideal candidate:

Geography degree, ideally 2:1 or above

Passionate about education and working with young people

Confident, patient and approachable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Interested in pursuing a career in teaching or education

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

DBS required – applicants without a DBS can be supported through the process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography Graduate to gain hands-on secondary school experience and develop valuable classroom and pastoral skills.
