Job summary

Tier Environmental is seeking a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our Bromsgrove office. The role involves managing Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations and directing site work, with travel as needed.

You will work within a team of engineers, geologists and environmental scientists within the Tier engineering group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in contaminated land, geotechnical and civil site investigations, with knowledge of remediation and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant post-graduate experience managing and reporting contaminated land, geotechnical and civil site investigations.

Responsibilities

• Writing of Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports.
• Design, set up and management of site investigations, including logging of soils and rocks.
• Management of site based sub-contractors.
• Recording and interpretation of site data.
• Scheduling of chemical and geotechnical testing.
• DQRAs; and,
• Preparation of generic and site specific health and safety risk assessments.
