Job summary

Informed Solutions Limited is seeking a GIS Software Engineer to design and build enterprise geospatial platforms and APIs in a cloud environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for public and private sector clients.

The role emphasises collaboration, modern architecture, and agile delivery, with opportunities to contribute to AI-enabled location intelligence and Earth Observation projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of GIS software engineering experience with .NET/Java/Python.
• Experience designing scalable geospatial apps on AWS or Azure.
• Familiar with GIS platforms, data and spatial APIs.
• Knowledge of PostGIS, GeoServer, OpenLayers, Leaflet, GDAL or QGIS.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, serverless and event-driven systems.
• Proven Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative geospatial solutions via enterprise software and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers and delivery managers.
• Follow standards, provide estimates, and raise risks when needed.
• Communicate prototypes and progress clearly to stakeholders.
