Job summary
Arup in the United Kingdom is seeking a Geo-environmental Engineer to strengthen the Midlands, Wales and West capability. Based in Birmingham or Nottingham, you will work across brownfield and contaminated land projects, from site investigation through to design, construction support and verification.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, analyse data, produce technical reports and help deliver sustainable ground engineering solutions while developing your geo-environmental
Qualifications
- Combination of technical capability and collaboration to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Ability to communicate clearly with project teams and clients.
- Experience in geo-environmental concepts and project delivery is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Supporting delivery of brownfield projects, contaminated land projects and geo-environmental aspects of multidisciplinary projects.
- Contributing to planning, delivery and interpretation of ground investigations and lab testing.
- Undertaking contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies.
- Analysing field and laboratory data to develop conceptual ground models and solutions.
- Preparing technical reports and communicating findings to project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with geotechnical, environmental and wider multidisciplinary teams.
- Supporting client relationships through high-quality technical delivery.
- Managing allocated work packages and contributing to project delivery.
