Role Overview

The position is suited for a driven and enthusiastic consultant with strong technical ability, a focus on client care, and problem-solving skills. Experience in contaminated land risk assessment is essential, including preliminary risk assessments and GQRA for human health and controlled waters.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong degree in environmental science, geoscience, or geology.
• Postgraduate experience or qualifications in contaminated land risk assessment.
• Actively working towards chartership.
• Experience with contaminant fate modelling and a holistic understanding of engineering geology/ground engineering is highly valued.
• Experience with GIS or coding would be advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Prepare Phase I desk studies, Phase II geo-environmental interpretative reports, and remediation verification reports.
2. Assist Graduate Geo-environmental Consultants as the team grows.
3. Assist senior staff in undertaking Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments and preparing Remediation Strategies.
4. Promote a passion for the discipline.
