The ideal candidate will be a driven and enthusiastic consultant with strong technical skills, a focus on client care, and problem-solving abilities. Essential experience includes contaminated land risk assessment, including preliminary risk assessments and GQRA for human health and controlled waters.

Applicants from all academic backgrounds are welcome, though a strong degree in environmental science, geoscience, or geology, along with postgraduate experience or qualifications in contaminated land risk assessment, is preferred. Candidates actively working towards chartership will be considered. Additional valued skills include contaminant fate modelling, a holistic understanding of engineering geology/ground engineering, and familiarity with GIS or coding.

Primary Role Responsibilities

1. Prepare Phase I desk studies, Phase II geo-environmental interpretative reports, and remediation verification reports.
2. Assist Graduate Geo-environmental Consultants as the team expands.
3. Support senior staff in undertaking Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments and developing Remediation Strategies.
4. Promote passion for the discipline and our services, striving for design and delivery excellence.
5. Manage projects appropriately and serve as the main client contact.
