Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK seeks a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join the Sustainable Land and Resource Management team in the North East, with Newcastle or Stockton locations. You will contribute to contaminated land and hydrogeological projects, including site investigation design and robust site models.

You will work with technical leads across disciplines, manage H&S compliance, and build trusted client relationships while developing toward chartership with support for CPD and ongoing

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or science (e.g., Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science).
• Active towards chartership with a relevant professional body.
• Experience designing and managing ground investigations and health and safety requirements.
• Experience with reporting and client-facing deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Organise, supervise and check site works including contractors and H&S compliance.
• Provide digital and technical input to contaminated land and hydrogeological projects.
• Collaborate with technical leads to win and manage geo-environmental projects.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, sub-contractors and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and CPD to grow proficiency.
