Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an Associate/Associate Director Geo-Environmental Consultant in London to lead and support technically complex projects across the UK.

The role sits in the Land Quality team and offers flexible, hybrid working with a focus on client engagement and technical excellence. You will oversee project lifecycles from desk studies to remediation, develop client relationships, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or master's in geology, engineering geology or environmental science with substantial geo-environmental consultancy experience.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) and a full UK driving licence.
• Chartered status pathways supported; accreditations such as SQP, SiLC, ASOBRA are advantages.
• Self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to manage workloads and deadlines in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of geo-environmental and multidisciplinary projects.
• Provide technical oversight across the full project lifecycle, from desk studies to remediation design and regulatory liaison.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships and communicate technical information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Support business development activities, bids, tenders and framework submissions.
• Line manage and mentor junior colleagues through technical guidance and project delivery oversight.
