Job summary

Jellyfish is seeking a senior GEO practitioner to lead Generative Engine Optimisation across our EMEA portfolio, partnering with Tier 1 accounts and reporting to the GEO Lead in EMEA. You will collaborate with GEO peers to codify best practices and translate the GEO codex into regional market realities across fragmented search landscapes.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced senior practitioner with 6+ years in SEO, search strategy or digital media, including AI-influenced search environments and work with at least one major EMEA enterprise account.

Responsibilities

• Senior GEO partner to Jellyfish’s Tier 1 EMEA accounts, leading strategic conversations with CMOs and search leaders.
• Move clients from AI curiosity to AI maturity and measure progress on the maturity curve.
• Drive adoption of advanced GEO practices, turning test work into retained projects with measurable commercial impact.
• Architect retained GEO engagements spanning content authority, technical site optimization, and AI training signals.
• Own the GEO QBR narrative for major retained accounts and lead annual GEO growth planning.
• Diagnose AI-mediated search risks across accounts, including AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Claude and other engines.
• Coach senior client-facing teams on GEO positioning in day-to-day conversations.
• Contribute to global product feedback and regional benchmarks for GEO, sharing regional learnings.
