Job summary

Ellison Institute of Technology in Oxford is seeking an experienced Event Delivery and Genotyping Manager to drive the confirmation and delivery of gene edited and transgenic crop events. You will coordinate molecular QC, assay development and downstream handover to trait teams.

The role requires deep genotyping expertise, project management, and collaboration across transformation, tissue culture and data teams to ensure robust data packages and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc with substantial industry experience in plant biotechnology and genotyping.
• Proven ability to design, validate and interpret molecular assays for event confirmation.
• Experience with transgenic and gene-edited crops and associated data packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the event delivery workflow from transformation to handover to trait or product teams.
• Design, validate and implement genotyping assays for transgenic and gene edited events.
• Manage external genotyping vendors, ensuring quality, timelines and data integrity.
