Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Cambridge is recruiting two Duty Genetic Technologists (team leads) to join the Genomics Specimen Reception and Send-out Team. This supervisory role focuses on staff leadership, data handling and coordinating the WGS send-out service within a busy lab.

You will support the Reception Lead and Deputy Lead, train staff, manage day-to-day specimen reception activities and ensure accurate data entry into the LIMS, while maintaining patient

Qualificações

• Experience of electronic laboratory management systems is essential for supervisory duties.
• Strong data handling and accuracy in laboratory information management.
• Experience supervising a team in a reception/clinical laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of genomic IT systems and software.

Responsabilidades

• Act as deputy lead for the GLH reception area, managing staff and processes.
• Act as Technical co-ordinator for the WGS send out service.
• Support the Lead to manage day-to-day specimen reception activities.
• Process accurate and timely data into the laboratory information system.
• Assist with service improvement and staff development for the team.
