The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Genomic Practitioner on a 22-month fixed-term basis to support the South West Clinical Genetics Service across Bristol, Bath, Somerset and neighbouring areas.

You will assist with consent, Whole Genome Sequencing pathways, data capture in EPIC and Phenotips, MDT coordination, and family information management under clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical genetics or genomic setting is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Experience with consent processes and patient information management.

Responsabilités

• Obtain informed consent and gather personal medical and family history data for triage requests.
• Support whole genome sequencing pathways and genomic testing processes.
• Coordinate duties across MDTs and assist with case reviews and information management.
• Enter data into EPIC and Phenotips, and contribute to patient registries for inherited/rare diseases.
