A leading organization in bioethics is hiring a Genomics Network Manager to establish and lead a new network focusing on genomic research. This full-time role involves engaging diverse stakeholders, managing projects, and addressing ethical uncertainties in genomics while working closely with the broader community.
Contract: Two-year fixed-term contract. Open to secondments.
Hours: Full time (35 hours per week).
Location: London, with option to work from home for part of the week.
The Nuffield Council on Bioethics is seeking an experienced researcher or policy professional to establish and lead the coordination of a new genomics network of stakeholders, to help shape the future of genomic research and healthcare.
As Genomics Network Manager, you will play a vital role in working with the sector to identify, discuss and address areas of ethical and regulatory uncertainty, and develop resources that support responsible innovation in genomics.
Key responsibilities include:
We are looking for someone with strong experience in research or policy development, ideally in genomics or a related field. You will have a proven ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, and be able to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
This role is based within NCOB but will work closely with the broader genomics community.
