Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites HCPC-registered Clinical Scientists with genomics expertise to join the Genomics Central Laboratory. You will deliver and develop a high-quality diagnostic laboratory genetics service and provide clinical leadership in a defined area.

You will advise consultants and contribute to national best-practice policy. The post offers a fixed-term 12-month contract at Band 7 with flexible working including hybrid on-site/remote options, supporting weekend rota

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist with genomics experience or equivalent
• Final year Clinical Scientist trainee on accredited programme with genomics experience
• MSC or PhD in Genetics with lab and analytical experience
• HCPC-registered biomedical scientists with genomics experience

Responsabilités

• Deliver and develop a high-quality diagnostic Laboratory Genetics Service
• Provide scientific leadership in service provision for the clinical area
• Advise Consultants and other users
• Contribute to forming national best-practice policy
